Meet some our our pekins

This is Bertie.  We hatched him under an inexperienced broody and she didn't want him when he was a chick and attacked him quite badly so i reared him myself and now he thinks i'm his mum. We weren't having any boys until Bertie came along but we couldn't let him go when he had been such a fighter after the attack from the broody.

Bertie is a very friendly boy and he is truly beautiful.

Say hello to Freddie's chicks, all grown up now.  They are living in the mixed teenager pen. 

This is Thomas our millefleur boy.

This is Gerry and 2 of his girls.  He has now gone to live in Lincoln with Jane and David who wanted some more pekin friends, having suffered a visit from the fox.  They have given Gerry and his girls a very special home.
